The motherboard will sometimes need the drivers installing, this is usually only if you don't have XP service pack 2 installed iirc. If service pack 2 is installed then the drivers should already be installed

Buy a really long one mate, go to tesco for this, I work at B&Q and they are a rip off there!! Don't let the sky installers sell you it, they charge some ridiculous price per metre iirc

Yes, they do send two cables to the box, ^^ thats the same sort of thing as I recommended, however maplins stores are all over so you may be able to get hold of one if you live near a maplins

The best solution is to drill through the wall, then take the extension through the outside of the house. Another alternative I have seen is an adaptor that uses your mains electricity to carry phones signals, sort of like a wireless extension

IIRC they are different, the ones going to the tweeters are the same as the head unit colours, or it could be the other way round and the door speakers are the same

Have you got a haynes manual?? The wiring diagrams are in the back, tell you which colours all the wires are.

I've always used VIBE audio, never had any problems. Their Active enclosures are also very good if you're trying to save a bit of space in your boot

^^ Agree with above, stay well away from 6x9's, and make sure the tweeters in the front are mounted where the original ones are

What does the screen look like that you're getting? Did you actually run the update utility and then it reset itself?

If I were you, I wouldn't use that method, your motherboard driver CD should have an update utility on it, all recent Asus Boards i've used have got the utility with them. It has a one click update feature, where by it recognises your board, downloads the latest relevant BIOS and automatically...
