Let me explain an example for belgium where I live. A standard 182 costs 20850 € = about 14000 £ (including 21% VAT) ROad tax a year for this car is 319 € = about 215 £ When you get your number plate for this car you need to pay 2478 € !!! = about 1700 £ !!! In belgium this one time...
