as mike_182 said, w7 is imminent, the beta is out in a few days and is apparently stable enough to run day to day, so might be worth waiting for that and giving that a shot, apparently its rather good. if u really cant wait, hit the torrent sites, u can get the beta there.

Vista is better than XP in every way, easier to use, more intuative. 99% of the so called bugs were ironed out over a year ago. On a well specced PC Vista WILL be faster than XP. And more stable. And far more secure, easily. (I run a hardware firewall and no software firewall/anitvirus apart...
