These are modern cars though, warm weather might make it a bit lumpy or not feel as smooth but it wouldn't cause these issues - besides it's fine once warmed up. There's deffo something that activates/deactivates/changes fixing the issue after a few minutes.

My dad doesn't clean his car...well maybe once a year with an old rag/sponge (whatever is at hand) and washing up liquid. Your car is the second most expensive thing you own, makes sense to look after it!

I declare EVERYTHING (even gear knob changes etc) so they've got nothing to try to worm out of paying up. Most insurance (in my experience) won't charge more for things like an exhaust, wheels etc.

I should mention it's the non opening type (3 door)

I wouldn't even try to set suspension up myself. Get it professionally setup with a corner balance.
