hi all, car has been in the garage and came up with two faults. 1) brake switch - this was replaced and is still showing up on the faults even when attempted to wipe it comes straight back on. the new switch works fine. 2) steering column (alignment iirc?) - again, won't stayed wiped...

yeh fully comp. tried to get admiral down but they wouldn't budge and my next best quote (other than bell) was over 2k.

i am 21 with 1 years ncb and they wanted over £4k for my insurance on a 182. i went with admiral at £1.3k.

not sure if the old exhaust hasn't rusted and vanished or not. but thanks for the ideas. i wasn't sure on an exhaust so asked the guy at the garage (ex ford BTCC mechanic) and trusted his judgement. whats wrong with them?

nah. thought about askin solly for space on his stand but sacked it off cos its only gona have a new exhaust on. need to strip it really before i go to any shows. i fancy a sprint around oulton park aswell ;)

hi all, did a search but didn't know what to look for or find anything. when i go to my car in a morning the clutch pedal is floppy and after pumping it a couple of times, it stiffens up and acts normal. when driving along, there is a small amount of play with the pedal before it stiffens...

just bought a 182 and my brake discs have corroded (just took it for a service and been advised they need doing within 3000 miles). I thought it'd be best to get them done sooner rather than later. just after some advise on what to get. don't want to spend too much as i don't think my belts...

bought it a week ago, drove it for one day and its been in the garage since being fixed. hopefully it will all be good after this fix...well, at least for a month or so!

warranty excludes "exhaust (cat converter)". can i do them for not telling me it was knackered when selling it to me?

is it safe to drive on a motorway for 30 miles? if so i might need to visit them.

any ideas on price for cat converter? euro car parts has them up at over £200 just for the parts!?!
