Point #3 mate it actually is supposed to work by allowing air into the plenum chamber while you change gear and when you temporarily take your foot off the accelerator it sucks the air in, so when you put your foot back down because of the extra air in the manifold you get a little kick from...
Haha. Don't waste your money mate, get a 182 or 172 FF!! I know I would!!
You pump all that money into it to get a performance of a 1.4 or 1.6, just not worth it IMO. I was gonna do the same with my 16v - Stick lots of money into new cams, belt, pistons etc.. etc.. and decided that I wouldn't...
I've had one of these fitted for 2 months and immediately took it off!! Avoid it with a barge pole!
You don't get any improvements on torque or acceleration at all and it doesn't actually cure any flat spots my car had. Also when you took your foot off the accelerator it made a really loud...
You need to undo the top bolt mate and discard it (keep it somewhere safe for if you get rid of the induction kit) and loosen the bottom one and just move it 90 degrees towards you and tighten the bottom bolt but keep the other 1 out. Then the kit will fit. It is really strong, but keep going...
Generally the more you pay, the better quality you get. Carbon Fibre induction kits look amazing under the bonnet and better quality all around, but they are at the top end of the price range.
I don't know about the 57i kit, I've heard they are good, but like all open air filter cones they can...
They don't do BMC or ITG filters for 1.2 - 1.6 8 or 16v engines in thier product range because I wanted to get a ITG panel filter and checked out BMC too and it's not listed anywhere.
ITG told me they could make 1 for me if I took my car in and it would cost around £250 to make, fit and have...
They much rather see us with cut up hands, bleeding, then drive away in any of thier cars! :rasp:
It had taken the top layer of skin off the top of my hands after I fitted the BlueVisions haha. The left is easier than the right I thought.
60mm is probably a safe bet. That's what im going to get and im on 17's too. Not heard anything bad about that kind of drop.
I can fist my arches with 17's on, plenty of room to lower!
^ ^ Bristol hmmm.. had an ex from there once..
No.. I won't continue lol!!
I have emailed adam@shinyautos.com because it would be interesting to see what they look like. Would go well with my carbon look mirrors too ;)
Rich, they would look good on your motor if they are real carbon woven...
LED's indeed.. But they aren't classed as neon glow are they? They are brake/ sidelights lol. When you look at a car with neons/ led strobe lighting under the car or inside, you don't notice the rear lights do you?
.. Well I never do. Besides I can't make up my mind whether to put the...
The thicker lines makes your wiper intervals less, thin lines means it lasts a few more seconds before each wipe. However I find that if you have it on the thick lines and you get drizzle, it thinks it's pissing it down and wipes at it's fastest speed. Can get a bit annoying at times.
