Re: Enhancement Detail - RenaultSport Clio 182 in Racing Blue finished in Zymol Glasu
Steve, I am pretty much fully booked until mid-June and don't go mobile anymore... could you get them down to me at all please?
Russ.
Re: Enhancement Detail - RenaultSport Clio 182 in Racing Blue finished in Zymol Glasu
jenic - yes it is!!
fletch - depends what's used and expectations etc but around £179 for a Clio sized car including a layer of premium wax (such as this £100 one) and Nanolex on the glass etc.
Clarkey -...
This fine example of a 182 is owned by a very enthusiastic, budding detailer so was very clean and well cared for but suffering from quite severe swirling, RIDS and various other defects.
The agreement was that the owner was to prep the car for me (so no pics of this I'm afraid!!) and I was to...
There was no heat in reality - I used a DA, Finishing Pad and Tripple has only very light abrasives in it - Roy knows his stuff when it comes to film so trusted his advice and it turned out sweet!! :)
I've not been in it yet actually but I'm sure I could get a ride if I asked nicely.
It...
I recently detailed this Nissan R35 GTR here:
http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=253296
It has since had a protection film added to it to protect its front end from stone chips but the owner wasn't happy with some of the marks in the film so asked me to take a look at...
It really does depend on the car, condition and expectation, but a whole day is around £169-199, depending on products used etc. This is normally a good 10-12 hours, to get it as perfect as possible in a day.
However, I only do it part time and am fully booked until June... but taking...
Firstly please let me apologise in advance for the poorly edited number plate removal - flickr has changed its editing software and it's not as sophisticated as it was - time to invest is some dedicated software.
This RCZ has been very well maintained and in fact has been detailed before by...
Well this car is owned by Paul who used to run Midlands Detailing (very flattering that he trusts me on his car) and we were both stagged by the results in literally 90 minutes or so!
Today's job was a simple protection detail on a car which is exactly the same colour/spec as my previous car - RenaultSport Megane R26 in Mercury Silver. The owner has recently invested in pretty much the entire Auto Finesse range from Polished Bliss, so I decided to give the forthcoming Auto...
and of course, some Tesco pics!!

This detail has been booked in for a while and it's been one I've been very much looking forward to - a Phantom Black Audi A3 2.0T with tasteful modifications such as Porsche Brakes, BBS wheels and coilovers.
The car itself was very well kept but suffering from significant swirling, so the aim...
James very kindly sent me some samples of a couple of forthcoming products, a new Glaze for darker colours, and a sealant best applied via DA.
A fellow DW Member asked me if I could give his Jeep a quick spruce up this evening, so we literally spent around 2 hours washing it down then going...
A few bits this week - I've a £200 order from Polished Bliss too which isn't here yet:
I got my Kranzle K7 serviced along with a new HD Foam Lance from Autobrite and 20m hose.
I also got a Festool Rotary which I'll be using with larger pads and keeping my 3M with a smaller backing plate on for...
Thanks all :)
This car has since been into Audi for new brakes and they TFR'd it, so the CR has died!
I had it back in tonight briefly to pop some more protection on to it - this time using the new Britemax Vantage wax.
I'm impressed to say the least!
