Nope. Its your RAM its loose. It gets dislodged sometimes in transit, you just have to take it out and make sure its seated properly. Easy to do yourself. Guide here I went through 3 Macbook pros to figure it out.

Sorry but what did you expect for £700... IIRC the speedo sender cable does go in the gearbox on a 172 but not on the 182. Dunno about the knocking, probs be easier to swap it out for another. Central locking, try changing the battery in the fob. Cambelt, change it if you intend on keeping it...

The golf has been leakin coolant so I had to top it up with water the other day and ain't had a chance to sort it. Frozen solid this mornin but I didn't realize it was frozen till the temp was gettin a bit high and it overheated on the moors this morning.

If you going to do Wales, go right to the west coast and up. Pembrokeshire is nice. Although that road through Wales that you have on your map does have a very nice driving road through the middle of a valley.
