The previous owner or a garage have rounded the locking nut (the nut that locks the TRE to the track rod, rather than the nut that holds the spindle in the hub) on my n/s TRE.
Can anyone let me know the size/ pitch of the nut? I have a fasteners specialist near me & will need to source a new...
If you want to give the guy the benefit of the doubt and "be a good citizen", be clear to him about what's expected of him and give him strict deadlines for his actions. You don't want to be chasing him for sign-off on quotes and payment!
Personally, I'd protect myself and report all of the...
Are you sure the sensor is knackered? The arm is very flimsy but should still be functioning if it's intact? I covered the joints of mine in silicone grease to hopefully provide some protection against the elements.
Re: Cost - I've bought so much for it recently that I forget. Try speaking to...
No they don't (unless you have some weight in the rear of the car - Passengers/ Bags of sand/ etc.).
I was surprised by this too because on the Range the lights move about LOADS.
On the Clio, there doesn't appear to be a feedback loop that tells the controller [ECU/ UCH?] where the motors are...
Tragic and poorly written "article". WGAF, anyway? Coming from an ex-biker: Warm & dry > Daily near death experiences, any day. Not to mention the glacial pace of a 125 - eurgh, I'd rather walk.
+1. Nonsense from start to finish.
I'd have a look in the For Sale section & get a feel for what a similar car would go for. 120k with overdue belts? I'm guessing @ about £1200?
Mine's in there if you want a pampered 172. :p
I sold my PS3 last year after I cleared my PSN account and everything tied to it from the old console's HDD.
I've just been given a PS3 and have just this minute bought a s/h copy of BF3.
Does anyone know if the Online Pass I had with my original copy is tied to my PSN account (ideal, meaning...
Fixed the leaking washer bottle, fitted a new washer motor & replaced the radiator & coolant (again!) because the condensor brackets had corroded. Hideous couple of jobs.
Do it!
I've not seen one AG in real life though (I've only ever seen white, grey, black, red and silver), so that may suggest it'd be a hard colour to shift, come re-sale time?
Christopher's and Gorms' cars are my favourites on here (red and silver)
You can check the rings very easily using a torch! The failed ones are *likely* (95% probability) to be the fronts.
Under the front bumper, look at the inside of the wheel and look for the toothed ring as seen here (not a Clio):
Cracked rings are a pretty straightforward fix for any DIY...
^ IME, broken or grease-filled reluctor rings normally result in low-speed firing of the ABS (pulsing through the pedal). They also don't tend to show a fault on the dash.
Sorry I can't help with an alternative suggestion on what the problem might be though, Kempes.
Really clean ph1! Loving the combo of 182 bumper & the ph1 rear lights. The car looks really aggressive and purposeful.
I also like that you've bucked the trend of fitting a Cup spoiler too!
I don't know the details of the acquisition but are you saying that one business (KTR) after acquiring another business (Raceland) are obliged to tell their customers that the products -that presumably they now own the manufacturing and/or design rights to- were once branded as something else...
