yeah have to agree (sheep) but i have a clifford, when the guy came to fit mine he even put the remote boot release on for me for free!! and the range on it is massive (yeah im one of those who likes to see how far away he can bleep his car!!)
i thought nick hill used a similar material in his induction kits?? i remember last time i was up there he had some of was showing me, i might contact him, cheers
didnt particularly look for all pioneer just kinda worked out that way, i like it all to match as use the car as a show car so gotta look good as well as sound good (god im gonna get slated for that), i really like the sound produced, its by far my best install, not really interested in outright...
gutted bout the car - jealous pricks mate, oh back to the important stuff! -
Pioneer 6400r cd headunit, 6 disc autochanger, pioneer tse-1075 coaxials in dash, pioneer tse-175c 17cm components + pioneer tse-1795 17cm coaxials in custom made door pods, pioneer tse-1075 co-axials + pioneer...
hhhhhhhhmmmmmm yeah i was being serious in that last point!! heard of tongue in cheek humour?? or the ability to read between the lines! hence the winky thing!?! man your install has gotta be really serious for the amount of stress going into this thread!!;)
fair enough, they have got to be the best selling of all types of speaker though?? gotta be a reason for that?? if these speakers were so bad then surely these companies would stop making them!?! i was just sayint that i do not agree with the opinion of worst possible speakers for in a car...
well lets face it, for £50 i dont think hes gonna be entering any SQ contests now is he!!! i think for the money they offer good all round sound quality, i know that top instally normally do not have them but thats not really what this thread is about!! oh IMO;)
i tried to cover my last install in leather and found it really difficult, because its relatively thin it shows any imperfections in what your covering, just think it would be very difficult. as bam bam has said, you could work out the correct size of the boxs, then using an mdf framework...
hhhhmmmm disagree with that last post, but its your opinion, well in my opinion, as you are after 13cm the ones above are a very good bet for that much, i use the pioneer e-motion series in my car and are very good quality. you could probably get the co-axial version of those for the money...
mine is from storm i think and fits fine, took around an hour to fit (and im quite useless) and came with really clear instructions, plus i got mine from max power live last year and it was only £70!!! bargin!
yeah ive got a pipercross i/k and always thought that the heat from the engine would not be helping performance, i bought it really coz of the nice growl it gives off (plus it was only £30 for the whole kit) but presumably i could wrap that material around it, how is the intake fixed to the heat...
you can sometims use an adapter from autoleads, for some head units, not sure bout that one, ive got the same unti and use the pioneer steering wheel remote, i find it easier to use!
i like that a lot?? as above really how much do you charge?? or could you tell us where you get the materials from?? ive already got a cold air feed but that looks like it would work a lot better!! cheers
yeah would have to say no to dawsons, unless you are very wealthy!! i went there once with a budget of a grand to fit and spray a bodykit, and they said it could not be done for that much!!
p.s. i got it done locally, and fitted myself= saved a great deal of cash!!!
i would definetely...
sorry, looking at the post thread title, i though u menat you wanted to get 8 subs in eack door!! now that would be worth paying for!!! i dont see why not, ive got two 17cm speakers in each door, go for it!
youd porbably be better to buy a kit from any car that you like and adapting it, i wouldnt use fibre glass onto standard plastic bumpers, because its very difficult to get them to bond properly, but if your feeling brave go for it!!
did think that, but in trying to fix it have kinda opened it! it doesnt look quite factory finished anymore!!!
no suggestions of how it might be fixed???
