sounds to me ore like a poor earth connection, you wanna get a sturdy bolt connection, like the seat belt one, rather than drill a small hole, not usually sufficient, oh and make sure both amps are earthed to the same point, cheers
ive got 2 17cm speakers in each door, just spaced out with some mdf, then had to cut the door about a bit, but if you dont mind the hassle well worth it, like someone says though if you just space out using some sort of mdf ring, the thicker the better, then your speaker will be further away and...
im having a go at a bit of a crazy screen roof type thingy, but i dont know to get the screen to stay up??? i was gonna use some magnet type thingies but im not sure if they would effect the screen?? cheers for any help peeps
i used to rsi skirts on my valver!!! needed cutting down in length, then shaping round the flared arches but it wsnt that difficult, they looked really good at the time but then got deeper front and rear bumpers, and they looked a bit lost!!! cheers
mount amp on underside of parcel shelf??? thats sounds ropey, i though only top qualtiy amps could be mounted inverted, certainly none of the amps ive ahd are good for this, plus, every time you lift the parcel shelf up, wires will be moving etc, risk of grounding out?? just a thought.
yeah i know a place that will paint them in rage paint etc, but is that what you want really?? i think that shadow chrome look would look good on yours, but they are mega money, but if your gonna get em re-furbed anyway, might be an option?? the place im thinking of is in milton keynes though...
yeah i work 7 days a week, although i do owe some on the car, i pay around £100 a month,i try and save for mods, thats why i havent done anything for a coupl eo fmonths, its gonna be special!!!
getting them chromed costs mega bucks mate, most places wont do it as the finish quite often flakes off, i think your looking at around £100-!125 each wheel, might as well get new ones, as for darker finish, maybe, but again its porbably only wourthj doing if your wheels have curb marks, i...
yeah could do, dont think ill go to the hassle though, i wanted vents cutting downwards if anything, if the bulge is that shape its probably that shape for a reason, just my luck the one ill have made up, will end up looking like a valver one!! cheers guys
as above really, i wanna go for a mad design really, custom bonnet, but wondered if the wider wings etc may come into effect? i know its been done hundreds of times the other way round! cheers
that might be an expensive way of doin it though!! as soon as i drive down the road they are 2nd ahnd dude!!
my 17s at the mo are 35mm offset, so ill probably go for 35 -38, thats seems to be what other peeps do, cheers
is et38 what i need then??? ive seen (in the max power-clio haynes manual, i konw i know but it was a xmas present last year!!) that the correct offset needed is et42?? cheers
ok cheers, im going to a local place whove got some 18s there, they said they dont mind me putting them on to see how much work itll be to get em on, cheers boys, ill let you know asap, cheers
right, im not sure if im gonna sell my wheels, but ive kinda decided that if i do there is no point in getting more 17s, so wanna know how much work itll be for 18s?
i know nick had 18s on his, and ive seen three mark 1 clios on 19s now, so i guess they cant be too much work??
Thing is ive...
i think those prices are pretty fair, dont get me wrong i know would look amazing to get it done, just IMHO i dont think its worth the potential hassle! definetely de-locked though, looks wicked, that alone makes the car look a lot smoother, especially as youve had the door strips removed.
