i live just north of portsmouth!! did i meet u at southend, last year?? mine was the naples red valver, i came up quite late?? i get paid at the weekend, so could maybe come down and see it then? cheers
ive had a similar reaction when ive been to dawsons before, seem really reluctant to help, i only go to 1 place now http://www.typekstyling.co.ukwww.typekstyling.co.uk , they are top boys there, really know what theyre talking about.
hi there, im looking to adapt some skirts to fit my valver, from another car, and thought i might as well keep it in the family and see what length mk 2/3 skirts are?? does anyone know?? ive measured mine and they seem to be approx 180cm, so as long as theyre somewhere near that should be ok...
where did you get that mould from then??? only kidding mate, hope your all good up there, might be up in the next couple of weeks, ive got some new ideas!!!!!
the 16v is actuaaly shorter (well shorter wheel base anyway), i found this out when i got my skirts off a rsi, they were about two inches too long!! had to cut them!!! demon tweeks may be able to phone rgm and see if theyre doing ones for your car?? hope this helps
been down there today, got my de-cat pipe (should keep me busy tommorrow), and i REALLY liked the look of these brakes. i always think its a good sign that they will work well when you see them on the bosses gtt thats running 350 brake!!! definetely gonna save for these!!!
ive got a supersprint cat back system (4inch oval tailpipe), very pleased with it, great sounds, and looks great, also think im the valver driver on here with it??? they are expensive, but well worth it
yeah i know, i dont like to name companies because im realistic about things like this, its just after spending lots and lots of cash with them, after theyve wasted a dyas wages for me, you would think they would be trying to help me out a bit!! saturday fitting??
as above, do not use this company. i arranged through them to buy/ fit a thatcham cat 1, for my baby, they told me to be at home between 9 and 1. fair enough, i decided to take the day off work (my workplace will not allow fitting to be done at work). at half 1 i decided to phone them see what...
i agree, my brother owns a precision laser cutting company (custom dials etc whahey)who specialise in perspex/acrylic, i asked him, he said a big no no, as heat from engine would be far too great, may be ok for shows etc, but a really really expensive way of doing things!!! why not look into...
ive got a cat back supersprint system on mine, it looks and sounds very nice, but beware, the one i bought was not designed to fit on original system (like the magnex i believe) and therfore the place that fitted it had to weld up custom brackets etc!!!! even though it was the designated system...
yeah thats what it was, ive sorted it now, look much better thanks, its worth doing if you are a bit patient and dont mind cutting a few bits and peices up!!!! thanks for the help
the magnex de-cat pipe is designed to look like a cat!! just got a straight through pipe, presumably so if you do get caught on the side of the road the piggies cant tell the difference (without testing it)
depends, the off-set of his should be over 40, whereas clios are 35- 38, its worth checking before hand (should be written on the back of one of the spokes - probably dirty so wipe clean!!), if it is 40, then would probably be ok, its just if its 45 etc, then dont even go there! hope this helps!
ive heard that hill powers ones are the best to go for, they offer an under bumper scoop for cold air in-take, very cool, ive got a pipercross on mine, dont notice any power gains but makes it sound superb!! if i was buying now tho would def go for the hill power one!
JUST IN YOUR OPINION GUYS, WHICH WOULD BE THE BEST BRAKE SET UP FOR ME TO GO FOR?? NICK HILL SAID THE BEST FOR ME WOULD TAR.OX 40 GROOVES WITH GREENSTUFF PADS I THINK, BUT LOOKING AT K-TECS STUFF, THEY DO A BIG BRAKE SET UP (WHICH HAS ADAPTER BRACKETS SO CAN KEEP ORIGINAL CALIPERS) BUT THE DISCS...
