my brother lives an hour or so away from the ring (by bike) and keeps teasing me with stories of his ring experiences on his bike, so i really need to make the trip over to his and have a go, and threads like these makes me want to go even more lol,
glad you had a good fun safe trip.
shame about all the hassle and bulls**t that you have been through, other than that good luck with the outcome as i really like the car, thinks it looks good.
what age clio do you have? i dont know if that will make a difference.
But have you tried cleaning the throttle body, as this helps on the gf's 1.6
as for the grinding noise have you checked for bearing's or even the rear brakes 'binding' or whatever its called, as this caused a similar...
Been looking and i havnt seen many second hand one's, keep an eye on the for sale thread or stick up a wanted one. If u want to buy new Kam racing in the traders section is the cheapest ive found so far, they're on thier website for £128.
ah thanks, i didnt realise you (as in the company) was on the forum, otherwise i would have just asked lol. But thanks, they will be the one's i get when its time for new suspension.
just found some on kamracing which people have spoken about before,

i just don't know how much of a drop i want? this web page talks of a 25mm drop which seems reasonable, but other pages on ebay talk of a...
that does seem a good price, are they the better springs to go for? the sportline's? because i have seen some called a pro-kit? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Eibach-Pro-Kit-Lowering-Springs-Renault-Clio-182-04-/180598173850?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a0c7d709a#ht_3450wt_905
no prob's about the thread hijack lol and yes it does, but i think i will be sticking with standard shock's with eibach spring's, they seem to be favoured by most people.
cheers i think you might have helped me make my mind up.
also ive done some more reading up and people seem to have alot of hate for GAZ which is a shame because i didn't have any problems on my old valver, and on a mk2 fiesta. Im also not sure about v-maxx as they seem to have a few bad...
its funny because i have never thought mine is too loud ( with cat on) but a couple of my neighbours have stared or given me funny looks, but then again ive had 2 mk1 valvers, one of which had a straight through magnex exhaust which was well loud, so they should be used to noisy vehicles, plus...
Over the last 2 MOT's my car has been through, one rear drivers side shock was and advisory (June 2010) and both front shocks were advisory's (June 2011) for slight misting of oil.
What im thinking is, over the next few month's to a year my car is going to need new suspension, and im stuck as...
^^ lol ive just seen a couple of your vid's on the yozza appreciation thread, sounds great which is what im thinking of doing so thanks for the vid's gives me something to think about
im thinking of de-catting my yozza purely to get rid of that annoying whistle, how much louder does it make the car? and what about at m'way speed mine pretty much goes silent atm at cruising speed
i love rep's if theyre done properly so will keep an eye on this and am looking forward to it being finished, and as for spraying it with rattle can's i dont think i would be able to tell the difference lol
how can couriers loose a bumper?
also what are your plans for wheels? i thought mk1 williams wheels would look good but i dunno what colour to have them, same as the car mayb?
