I work at halfords and a lot of our stuff comes in late. Most of the time its the supplier but its worth ringing to check if theyve actually ordered it.

How much would it cost for a full respray on the clio? I would be after a half decent job, but have no idea whatsoever.:confused: Any ideas appreciated..

Take it to a garage, or even halfords and they can check your alternator free of charge.

um, yeah. Otherwise you can end up frying your wiring, or even your head unit, cos its drawing too much power.

1.4rt. Well it could have been already like that when i got it in september but i wouldnt have known if i hadnt put the alloys on.

I put my new alloys on me car and noticed that te front right wheel was rubbing, so i checked it out and it was sitting to far back in the arch. Got a mechanic to look at it and the f*cking subframe is bent! I cant believe it, they reckon its gonna be about £1000. I was told it probably happened...

Ive just brought some new wheels of a new(ish) 172, ive got a 95 RT and was told that the offsets were very similar (ie within 1mm) Now ive got em on and theyre rubbing like f*ck! what to do?

I have an RT and was considering a GTT conversion later this year. Just wondering does anyone do it, and a rough price if anyone knows. Also my clio has a CAT will that make a difference to whether i can have a conversion? Cheers

How much would it cost to get a GTT into an RT?? And does anything else need to be done, ie brakes/shocks?

ive been told that the lambda sensor decides how much fuel needs to go in. At the mo, its just stuck on a set level pumping out the same amount whether the cars warm, or cold. Im guessing it must be fairly important otherwise surely they wouldnt put it on the car in the first place!!

Can anyone help? I want to know what the offset is and whether alloys with an offset of 43 will be ok. Theyre of a new clio 172. Cos ive almost bought them, and just thought about whether the offset is ok :oops: Cheers
