I had one leak on me a few years back. Well it didn't leak the glass bit actually just fell off. It didn't do any damage but i stopped using them. If you must use them i would suggest placing it on one of the vents on either side and not in the middle.

My mate has a Megane company car and in the 8 months he has been buzzing about in it he has done 55k. And it's still good.

You don't have to be in a massive pile up to get whiplash. You could just as easily get it by hitting your head on something or falling off a chair. If you are hit from behind at 30 when stationary i imagine you would get a nasty jolt.

I keep seeing all these threads showing nice and clean Clios so i thought i'd give mine a quick clean today after work and take a couple of pics. I used some of that Meguiars Gold Wax stuff and it was quite good. The finish looks a bit deeper than it did before..........

For black/grey plastic trim try some WD40 rubbed in with a cloth. I used to do that until i got hold of this stuff a mate of mine got from Mercedez which is brilliant. I don't know what it's called though.

Aren't them black and silver plates illegal? I was under the impression that they were only legal on cars that had them in the first instance i.e before 1973 or something like that!? Could be wrong though?
