Can lend you My Team Dynamics wheels if you want to try them out, but i'd have to ask that you try them at mine so your 182 wheels can be my assurance that you will come back with my wheels...............
A set of these (Team Dynamics Pro Race 3), or compomotive's in Gloss Black would suit your car IMO.
IIRC, yours is on oilovers so wouldn't look like a tractor (as mine did).
First pic is of my car, the last pic is one I took at a show at Croft (it's the lad's from Revolution).
I can stand on the slam panel of my proton and pretty much jump on it, the only noticeable movement is in the tyres.
My Coilovers are really hard, but the car has been through 2 M.O.T.'s with them on.
That's the way I look at it, if the car feels 'right' then I am happy. Loads of other car's won't make the power they are supposed to.
I have only ever put one car on a RR and that was because I had put a highly modified turbo engine in the car and I wanted to check the fuelling and I also...
A lot of the later EVO seats don't tilt forward though. If anyone uses the back seats, these aren't ideal. For stripped out cars, you'r onto a winner.
Evo 2-4 seats are decent and have the tilt forward mechanism. IIRC, most (if not all) EVO's have the same mounting points under the seats, so...
Was thinking about spark plugs as well as oil.
My car was serviced last week and it is now far better in the lower revvs.
It kinda depends on what you think slow is as well.
Still cheaper labour than I was quoted for a service.
I'll do my clutch myself when it needs doing, f**k paying the dealers for anything other than a few parts.
I have 2 kids, we have 2 cars, but this still applies.
I got the Clio while we were still using my daughters big pushchair (she walks everywhere now), that would fit in the boot spot on and that thing was huge.
When we went for a day out etc, we would only ever use one car. The Clio is big...
I was perusing the Autotrader and spotted this

Last of the 172's??
I have searched, but I haven't found the answer.
With the 172 cup not having ABS, are the discs themselves the same?
From what I have read so far, I think they are the same disc, but the cup just doesn't have the ABS ring.
Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question to some, but I don't know...
The Clio is big enough (IMO), I have 2 kids (one is almost 13months old) and the Clio has been perfect.
We had a pushchair/travelsystem that is so big, it was hard to get it out of the back door, but it folds down to a reasonable size and it used to fit in the boot perfectly (don't use it now...
A turbo timer is well cheap (£15-£30 for a used one), alarm is a lot more. I think I am giving the Clio to my lass in April, so I don't want to spend much more of my money on it.
Looks like I will have to join direct to the loom (starts earch for ignition wiring loom), thanks Danno.
lol at the ebay links and the turbo badge. I don't have a turbo badge on my turbo'd car, the Clio is definately not getting one.
I got used to having a turbo timer on on the Proton so want...
I think this is the most appropriate section to put this in...........
Are there any Turbo Timer wiring harnesses, that will fit the Clio's? Are there any direct fit Turbo Timers I can use?
Before anyone asks, I do know my Clio doesn't have a turbo, but I do have my reason for asking ;) (it...
I used a pair of these to attach the engine (via lifting points) to the hook at the end of the hoist on my garage roof.
They are towing straps and are rated to 2tonne. The hoist was fine, the straps were fine, but the garage roof bent :o...
Just because the car can go fast, doesn't mean you 'have' to drive it fast (a 42mpg return doesn't necessarilly equate to constant <2krpm).
The opportunity to go quick doesn't present itself a lot when I am driving. I have my other car to rev the tits off, but that'll be on a track.
There...
My trip computer hangs around the same areas as JayR has mentioned. Actual calculation of (best estimate of) fuel used over (indicated) distance travelled gives a lower figure, but overall still impresive for a 2.0l petrol.
I drive 4miles each way on work days (I drive to my m8s house and get...
I live near one of these shops
http://www.clearancebargains.co.uk/
I bought a TV for the bedroom from there, 26" LCD for £200 at the time and they were £180 last time I saw them in. It can be a bit 'pot luck' in the shop, but if you aren't looking for 'the best' (which, by the sounds of your...
If the tread is good on the 195/45/15's then can't you just sell the tyres if you'd rather use 195/50/15's?
Depending on what tyre you are looking for, there are some good deals on 195/50/15's (if that is what you want to go for in the end). Someone recently posted a link to Camskill for some...
