Hey people, has anyone replaced there centre exhaust pipe with a straight through one?
I've got a de-cat pipe, a magnex centre section, and a piper 3.5" tail pipe. I thought about removing the centre one for that little bit more power, but don't wanna lose too much back pressure. Has anyone had...
Basically it's just a resistor that plugs into the air temp sensor. This makes the ECU think the airs colder (more dense), so chucks more fuel into it.
I have a similar thing on mine i made myself with a switch and whatever, basically when i turn it on the air temp goes down by 14 degress. The...
it should just screw in. is there a one-way clip in the way? some of them had one in there to stop the torsion bar from coming out (don't think it's gonna fall out some how!) remove it using a screwdriver and a pair of long nose pliers. if you haven't got one, i can't really help. the bar is...
It clips onto the bottom of the window, just pushes on. I don't think they do anything and are always falling off. Mine fell off, put back on, fell off again, went into bin!
It's prob the gears inside the motor unit broken. Replaced a few of these at work now, there expensive though. Nearly £150 I think last time I looked. If you can get the part, it's not too hard to replace so could do it yourself
Chris
u wont get much more power, considering the pump only using a lot of engine power on full lock. best bet would be to call Power Racks Direct for a re-conned one. Prob only be about £60? My rack went on mine and the steering went light as anything like a biddy mobil, cost half the price than a...
A friend of mine used that high temp hammer right paint. you dont have to mix it unlike caliper paint, and it drys quicker. I have to say the final result looked well good.
this is good bit of kit, but should come with a little folder of paper. Basically this machine only illuminates bar graphs (20 in total). you then have to look in the folder and it shows u what it means. (the meanings change depending on what computer its connected to ie, inj, auto, abs, etc...
Hi,
The Clip connects to the lapton via USB, then another USB lead from the Clip to a little box called a CAN. Dont know what CAN means but its something to do with the Renault computers are different language then normal PCs / laptops. From the CAN is the normal 16 pin EOBD connector.
Dont...
Hi, if your talking about the 3 clocks in the middle, i think i might be able to help. First remove the top dash, only 5 screws (20 torx). Then from memory i think there are another two or three holding the clocks in. Make sure you have the common earths and feeds (12v) using a multimeter...
I had this problem once, i had to run a seperate power lead from the battery to the headunit. It doesnt have to be huge stuff just enough to take 20 amps. It didnt stop it completley but helped a lot.
Excellent day out mangaed to get me and the girlfriend in for a tenner, and a pint was only £1.50 The worst bit was the queues. Took about 45 minutes to get in, and just as long to get out again! My Clio 16v overheated, ended up pushing it some of the way, and was still moving just as fast as...
