The oil indicator in the dash, is it reliable?? mine keeps going up and down, however, on a level surface it gives the same reading.
Should i rely on this or should i manually dip it, i wish i could rely on the dash indicator because the dip stick is in a really ackward place.
i just made out that i was interested in buying one and trading in my 172, maybe the dealer isn;t doing too well, maybe they haven't hit their targets so they gave me the car?? who knows, i know one thing for sure i'm gonna drive the boll**ks out of it....don;t you just love courtesy cars!!??
i've got my car booked in on the 16th November and i've got a megane sport 225 for the day, definately gonna keep it another day, just gonna tell them i'm out of town on business, only fraw back is they have put a £1000 excess on the car!!!!
just had my pads changed front and back, done about 200 miles and they are bedded in, however, the brake pedal donesn't feel as springy and a slight noise is coming from them. when i brake it seems to brake really hard even when i tap on them??
Anyone else experienced this or know what my...
I'm not too sure if its just mine or if its like this on everyone elses...
basically, when put the fan on manual and select a temperature there is no difference in heat if its 19 degrees or 26 degrees, only when i hit max it will start blowing hot air!!!
surely, renault haven't designed it...
couldn't beat mine either, they were £50 more expensive and £100 more expensive on the excess...i still reckon elephant are the cheapest around if you haven't modified the car.
Where can i buy a back box for my 172, only want the back box not a full system.
Is there anywhere cheap online or a company that will supply anywhere?
When you hold down the button the wiper to control the on board computer and turn on the car it will perform a test. If you press the button again, it will show the amount of petrol left and then the amount going to the fuel pump and then the error codes.
Does anyone have a list of definitions...
i agree, i have the same problem!!! anyone know if it can be adjusted manually, i know Renault can do this, but does it require a laptop or is there a switch somewhere??
true, but people are losing so much money on the cooper s now, i lost 5K in 10 months, so that why i brought the 172 because its pretty cheap for the power.
my friend has a honda civic VTI 1.6, i had to take it up to 120 before i caught up with him, the civic is only 160 bhp, think there might...
no its a UK spec car, straight from Renault UK, i'm the second owner, definately not an import. Its just strange that on the speedo it won't go past 130
yes, my old mini was the 163 bhp version, on the books its says 7.4 seconds 0-60 and the newer ones have 170bhp with a 0-60 of 7.2
i still reckon it has something to do with the gearing because the MCS has a 6 speed box and each gear is longer than on the 172
yes, i was going to show him on the motorway, but he said he cannot risk himself or anyone of their technicians to be going that fast!!!
serious?? they can't do that, it states a top speed of 138 so why can't i take it to the max??
i did have three pretty big lads in the car, would this make a difference to reaching that 140??
plus the handbrake and stop light keeps flashining, found out its new brake pads time.
how can i get the car checked out, renault said they couldn;t do anything when i told them the car won't got...
the funny thing is...when i had the cooper s it would easily pull straight to 130 with no lag, but in my clio it won't go past 130, is there something wrong with my car or are all 172's like this.
i agree the 0-60 times are similiar, but i think in the top end the mini would win?!!
