got a 1.2 16v clio recently, reset the computer thing and have been trying to drive economically! most of the journeys are relatively short i guess, but even with a few motorway trips ( bout 1hr each way ) i can't get over 40mpg after reading the other thread about how much some people are...

yeah im sure i'll find something to do! actually, might go have a look round the car now, lol spent £20+ in halfords on paint/sandpaper just for a gearknob insert lol dont feel confident enough to paint the side strips yet, but might get something from the scrappys to practice on! wouldnt...

yep it's matt_trev who sells them, hes got a couple of black and a couple of silver ones left. thread here couple of pics! sanded down and primered first coat of renault iceberg silver ( not a great pic yet )

yeah it was easy to get out, lol just sanded it down and am giving it a few coats of primer gonna try painting it silver tomorrow, and gonna get hold of some of those stickers to go on it hopefully the laquer will be fine on top of the stickers! pics to follow

seen a couple of threads on these inserts, but can't see how to get it off! its a silver one i've got at the moment thats almost completely worn off im guessing you can't just buy the inserts from renault so im gonna have a go at painting it is it glued on, or does it have clips or something...

here's it with its new plate, been to the dvla office this afternoon sorting that and the tax out. Still havn't had chance to wash it properly!

it was 4100 from a dealer, down from almost 5000. some cheaper ones about, but pretty good for the condition + spec, plus it has a few months dealer warranty yeah gonna take a look in a scrappy for a few bits an pieces, can the plastic insert bit be taken out from the bumper?

32,000 but seems in awesome condition. think it has 2 previous owners, but was just changed from husband to wifes name by the looks of it couple of little things to do to it, and then give it a proper polish!

cheers for replies, yeah it is pretty clean looking one of the alloys is slightly kerbed but apart from that in 4 years thats pretty good! half the splitter on the front bumper has come off, so need to find a replacement and have some hole in the plastic of the front bumper ( see pic ) not...

Here's my clio dynamique i picked up this afternoon, nothing special, but looks pretty tidy will clean it up tomorrow, but here's some pics for now!

havn't bought it yet, its just as a runaround and didn't think it had aircon, but from some of the threads here it sounded like dynamique's all had it ( turns out its an option ) just thought there might be a chance i missed it!

seen this pic on ebay probably would have noticed the ac button i guess, never know i may have missed it, lol Edit: Just seen another one on ebay, without the AC or the other button is it just ac that has the recirculation button, or is there another one with just one button? *confused*

yeh probably doesn't have it then, lol havn't really looked at the car that closely yet though, but if i saw the other button i probably would have noticed the ac one, ah well

wow quick replies lol yeah i know the cc has the digital thing, just wasn't sure what the normal ac has, all i can remember seeing was the circulation thing, so probably doesn't have aircon then. so it's just an extra 'AC' button with the normal 'twisty dial' things? lol

Picking up an 04 dynamique tomorrow, just not sure if it's got air con or not! i could just wait til tomorrow i guess, but i was wondering if it was an option on dynamique's? i know cars with climate control have the digital dial thing, but not sure what the aircon unit on a clio looks like. I...
