I have seen 90mm (chopped springs) with 17s and the guy said the car is ok, aslong as the road is as smooth as a babys arse and u dont have to turn very often!
Would say 60mm is enough on 17s
to be honest mate the Clio I saw on 18s, although they were good wheels, they were just too big for the car. He was using Technomags (speeling) multi-spokes. I think 17s are really big enuogh, plus, the price difference between 17s and 18s is HUGE! Is it woth the extra?
Try a set of Black...
thanks for info. Lowered another Clio last night with springs I am getting, supposed to be 35mm springs (as above more like 50mm) so, should be done by the weekend!
dont buy the max power ones, they die very easily. If u are goin to buy a set of neons you really are going to be paying a fortune for a good set.
The best cheap ones I can find are from Maplins. Used to have 2 one metre tubes either side, 2x 50cm ones front and rear, and a few in the car...
dunno if any of u guys have heard of them but Ground Zero kit soudns absolutely amazing!
If u need to hear the kit (which I would greately recommend) the best person to talk to is Manjit at TFG in Newcastle, their number is 0191 2632445.
BTW they are also one of the cheapest places to buy...
Has anyone on here dropped their cars yet? What kit did ya use? What drop?
Anyone got 17s on and dropped their cars? Have you had any problems?
Sorry to start with so many quesitons but really got to ave the car lowered by Trax (Silverstone Sept 2002).
Any info would be appreciated!
