I think 25mm front, and 5mm rear.
What are your thoughts? More/less?
Pics:
That pic is abit misleading, Theres really not much space between the top of the tyre and the arch, hence why I'm thinking 5mm rears.
What do you think?
Cheers mate! nearly finished looks wise now, once the badges + spacers are all sorted.
Just got to sort out a de-cat and get the interor sorted and it'll be doneee :)
Haha, cheers for the info mate.
After doing some measuring, any more than 5mm on the back would be pushing it. So I'm just going to get some 5mm on the back, and need to measure the front late, may go for the FK's.
Thanks alot fellas! :)
The whole spacers thing is a nightmare, lol, theres only about a 10-12mm gap on the rear between the arch and the tyre, so if I space them any more than 5mm I'm going to be risking scrubbing when cornering, going over bumps, ect. So looks like I'm only going to put 5mm on...
Cheers lads! I think it's come a long way in the last few weeks, looks alot more tastefull that it did.
And I'm not a sheep really, Turinis are popular for a reason at the end of the day, they suit clios really well :). I love it :). It's now pretty much a full cup rep too, Cup splitter, Cup...
These spacers are giving me a headache now!
I cant find anywhere that sells propper 15mm hubcentric spacers other than FK (£100!). Does anyone know where else you can get them? FK do cheaper "A-centric" spacers (Around £50 + the cost of longer bolts), they are still classed as hubcentric (have...
Ahhh that makes a change! lol :o
I seee, thanks mate, but yeah I already had graphite 2.0 ones but I'm going for some graphite 16v ones with cyclone blue lettering :)
Cheers lads! can't help but want it to be lower now it's abit higher with the 16's :( lol
Looks gash with silver bullets I think, can't wait to get them changed!
Talk about being on stilts! :dead: other side was jacked up.
Picked up the Turinis from Guilford (thanks Nick mate!), Over two hours drive! (saw the remains of a very very very nasty crash on the M40 too! Burnt out fiesta completly wrapped around a tree, can't see anyone surviving the impact...
Riiight they're on! havn't got any pics atm will take some tomorrow, they dont rub on full lock or anything atm, they dont sit flush with the arches but they are no worse than the oz's I had on! Just going to get 25mm front and 10/15mm rear, they will sit lovely then I think!
Meek mate - the...
Lol I wish, wheels are setting me back £475 :dead:, had to take out an overdraft today! lol, I can afford it, but I get paid weekly so large lump sums are hard to come by!
Going to try them tomorrow without spacers, If I had standard wings it'll be all good, but having sport wings with the...
Nah I'm not, not to my knowledge anyway, never even had the current wheels off! (were on when I got the car), but if it does have spacers they arn't big enough 'cos my wheels are pretty sunk in the arches.
and the boosh! I think that's what I'm going to have to do. Just wanted to get them on...
Lol...
anymore input on these? not sure what to get!
If someout could tell me howmuch more 172 cup turinis stick out then standard 182 alloys, that would be a great start.
The only thing chavvy about it is the fact it's called an STI which are very commen amongst chavs, however, its the one and only sti chavs can only dream of getting!
I'd do your diamond graphite mate. looks best IMO.
Looks tidy bud, I want your seats! Mine are the same but covered in stains from the leeky sunroof :(
Thanks for the imput buddy.
I've had one person say 15mm, and one 30mm, anyone else? lol
I thought their offset was ET35? :S, isnt the 195 just the tyre width?:S
