Spot on,lol. An engine change isn't going to cost less than £250+Vat. Will be off a week today to get the work done.
Then, next mod is some Cobra Daytonas off Nick.
Then, going to space the rears another 5mm as I'm not 100% happy now the fronts are spaced.
Then, going to get the engine...
Thanks! I know the arches do need a good clean :o
To have the cam belt and aux belt, water pump change, and full service, is going to be £250 + vat. I'm going to need the service anyway so really it's not too bad, the belts are overdue (not mileage wise, but out of the 5 year thingy). So I...
Thanks mate! Yeah I don't understand why renault didn't colour code the button on the sports like they have the door handles and side strips ect...crazy people!
De-cat has been postponed im afraid :( Will be getting one, but going to get the seats first as someones holding them untill I've got...
Cheers for all the comments guys :)
Yeah I guess the cliosport.net sticker is abit marmite, but I used to have a Renault sport badge there and think it looks too bare with nothing there!
Yeah that's me mate! No way, didn't realise you were on here! Thanks! Yeah iv made a few changes...
Fk hubcentric spacers arn't anything like that mate, lol, I've got them too.
But, you've got the spacer (which I may add is alloy, and perfect balanced) which is bolted to the hub, then the spacer has a collar on it to act as a new hub for the wheel to sit on, which is then bolted, in seprate...
Cheers fellas!
Haha, Thanks mate :o, I dont know about that though, Maybe the best cyclone blue rep (but only as it seems to be the only one around at the moment!):clown:
If I had the money I'd get it done tomorrow, lol. I'm deffinatly considering an engine conversion. I just love the car too much to let it go, haha. Would be awesome to have a cyclone blue "sport" too! Maybe when I'm 21 and I've saved abit :P
Cheers lads!
And the archliners all round are from a non sport. (How it was like when I got the car so I've never bothered to get them changed!) So they don't actually fit, but it's not really noticable unless you're right on the ground looking at them :)
My badges arrived from NathJ today, very good quality, excellent colour match! Would recommend him to anyone!
Got the following:
Rear Graphite Diamond
Boot Release Button in Cyclone
16V Bullets (Graphite with Cyclone Lettering)
Turini Diamonds in Cyclone
"Clio" Badge in Graphite

Looks very nice, I'm thinking of getting that cage in a few months, What's it like to fit?
Id have to keep my seats in too as I'm one of two drivers in a group of about 12 mates, lol. Mr taxi ftl. When the cross bar is taken out are the rear seats still as usable/easy to get to ect?
It's rubbing because by the looks of it your wheels are the wrong offset? they shouldn't sit like that (without spacers) you want the wheels to be about 5mm sunk into the arches to avoid rubbing when lowering. Mines lowered 60mm on standard shocks, and it's OK, rides not great, and not sure how...
