that patch isnt right for my OS aparently just downloaded it.
Not sure what to do with the BIOS thought if im honest. what version should i go for and what is the best method?
hmmm bit confused now, i tried to reboot with 3gb in again and then took me to the motherboard picture again... turned it off put 2gb in nothing happend...turned off put 4gb in booted first time.. lol wtf :S

Right ok so ive just built my new pc, the spec is as follows:

4gb 1066mhz Crucial Ballistix

8800GT OC2
500gb WD Caviar

Everything went together fine, i powered it up fine, had a load of trouble getting it to boot as it...
Well as title really! i just built a new pc, loaded vista on, plugged in my ethernet cable to the router, everything was fine apart from the fact that internet explorer will not connect to the internet :\ and as a result neither will it update for me :(
Im connected to the internet as ive tried...
ballistix all up was £90 from overclockers was on offer a few weeks back :D
And im going dual core for gaming reasons and i dont do much that would warrant getting a quad. also a new Q9450 is out soon. Alot of reviews have seen people move from Q6600 to the E8400 tooo :)
But not so sure yet...

Could someone cast their eyes over this quickly. Just looking at factory OC'd GTS and GT's and they look very very similar, and the gt is aparently built for vista and it also states this "World's first unified architecture supporting Microsoft® DirectX® 10"

Yeah i know ive read so much about soundcards and vista im confused! i think im going to use on board sound untill a soundcard made specifically for vista is launched. :)
