You know you could stiffen the anti roll bar you have got, with some strategic welding and plating, have seen it done, but can look scruffy. Have you tried Demon Tweaks as I am sure they stock uprated antirollbar kits from third party motorsport manufacturers.

Its weird but I am positive my valver pulls quicker and cleaner, not at full throttle (pedal floored) but just a little bit off the floor. Anybody else find this, or is it a peculiarity of me, my car or both, hmm

Yeah probably the bearings, when you do them I highly recommend you change the ball joints since you will probably be taking the hub off too, you are as well to, as you cant them off without f&*cking them anyway. Also make sure bearings are pressed fit (whether you do it yourself or in a garage)...
