Have tried the above but it still hits the bonnet and just closes but the bonnet is slightly buckeled then when you pull the bonnet release it pops up with quite a foece am giving up for today!! Its getting cold any more suggestions and i'll try those, the rear one fitted in minutes!!LOL

Yeah, if i bend down and close the bonnet slowly I can see it catching on the left hand side

Bought an OMP strutbrace for the Clio 172, fitted it today to find the bonnet does not shut with it on. Thought I had it the wrong way,turned it round and still the same problem. Anyone had the same problem? Anyone got any ideas?

Thats who i'm insured with they are very good on quotes put the misses on last year she had only been driving for a week and was 22 my insurance only went up to £700 for a 172 now i never get to drive it!!

No wasn't that on it had standard alloys on it and a private plate the cliosport sticker was in the back drivers side window
