I heard that the mk2 clio cup racing cars where just a mk1 with various new body panels. Maybe wrong but Im sure they said that on the TV when they started the mk2 racing clio cup.

i dont think a RS can be compared to a 172, a RS is more in the scooby sector.
I read an article the otherday in a mag where they rated the RS better than an escort cossie. People on here say at the end of the day its a focus, but the focus is probably the best handling family car on the road...

my mate has a vr6 and weve had many a race.
0-60 sprint the 172 beats it by a good car and half length. Hell admit it everyime.
Keep on going up to silly speeds and the distance the 172 pulls away becomes less and less. We both reach above the
!40mph mark and theres only one champ.

had a kicking with a woman driving an M3 at the lights. From 0-90 she pulled away with little problem. She was giving it her all, and managed about four car lengths when hitting around the 90 mark.
Not a bad effort i think from the 172 against a car worth three times it value.

Craggy me old fruit, the way you set off is fine! If you do it the same as when you took me a spin at those traffic lights youll have no probs.
When i did the run at santa pod and managed a decent 15.1something secs. I just let the revs hit about 4000rpm and let the clutch out. Just a little...

The lad in the pug gti was the closest to coming a cropper. He only just got passed before hitting an oncoming car. I think I was the only one that saw that. Not to worry all in a days work.
Anyway craggy down the slip road onto the motorway how was you doin against me? Boy that williams of...
