I'm currently running an RS192 exhaust however I'm looking for something a little bit louder/throatier. My main concern is wanting to keep the CAT as I found the RS192 system to be a bit too loud/boomy with the decat on longer journeys.
What's the next best option? I'm hoping to do a trade...

Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - Spoon goodness PG5
My friends also got a spoon on his, very loud considering it's just a backbox but they sound good! He's also fitting a spoon b-pipe soon so it's going to be wild!!!
You can position the wiper on the windscreen and attack the pumps without removing the arm. It's a pain but that's what Fred at BTM had to do with my car a couple of weeks back as they weren't coming off!
I'm 25 and pay £600 to insure the 182 which I'm very happy with. Never really think about the renewal prices unless they're higher than the year before!
When I ordered mine in the dealership it still took a couple of days to arrive. I imagine it'll turn up next week, prbly a back log of orders with Clio owners buying them :)
My exhaust is really weak at that point and the join always fails! I've since refitted the cat for an MOT and it seems to have held up a bit longer than usual.
I've always been tempted by an RSTuner but never taken the plunge and actually purchased one. It'll be interesting to see the results especially with 100 ron fuel...
My friends ph1 feels a lot more raw than my 182. The 182 is more refined with a nicer ride, xenons, cruise control, climate control etc. The one thing I don't like about my car is the electronic throttle, the cable one gives you a lot more feel.
Bright coloured wheels have been done so many times! It's a bit like sticker bombing though you either love it or hate it...
I do like crazy coloured wheels but I don't think it'll suit the standard 182 wheel. The green dished wheels at the start of the thread look really good imo.
Mine seem to come on when it's dusk in a built up area but when you go into the open they turn off, stupid things! I've opted for the old fashioned way of turning them on manually!
I tried to fit a ph2 wheel in my friends ph1 however as mentioned above the airbags are different. I imagine you could wire them up but messing with airbags isn't ideal unless you know what your doing.
Your best bet is to get the car plugged into a diagnostics machine, find the fault and then hopefully rectify it.
I just had a similar problem on my 1.2 Clio and it turned out to be a faulty throttle body however you could trick it into working, very odd!
Re: hi newbie here i need a bit of help i want to no how much to lower my 2002 172 ch
Sportlines for show (30-40mm drop) and Prolines for go (10-15mm drop). You can pick up other brands like Apex and I'm pretty sure they do a 60mm drop. I don't think people have many issues with lowering 60mm...
Have a new bracket welded in place? I had a few exhaust issues with my old 106 when fitting a pugsport and just had some new hangers welded on. It would mean using universal exhaust mounts however this might solve your problem?
