As already said above the best products imo are from Britemax aka The Metal Masters.
Britemax Easy Cut - Metal Cleaner & Polish
Britemax Final Shine - Metal Polish & Sealant
My good friend Bryan from Drive 'n' Shine has started offering this in the Godstone area.

Here's a DW review of the Kestrel SIM180;

Unfortunately the price of the Kestrel has risen a bit since then.
Compared to the old 'orange' Silverline polisher there was no contest - Kestrel wins everytime.
But the...
That model of rotary from Silverline is now discontinued.
The new model is called a 'Silverstorm' and its dial-up speed control now maintains an even rate of RPM's even when putting pressure on to revive the dullest of finishes.
Above speeds are for Rotary if using a DA spread at speed 2, polish at speeds 4-5. Work the polish longer - if polishing in the sun then to prevent the polish drying out to quickly before it does its job spritz the pad with some water or QD and continue.
German paint, especially BMW can be a pain - but not impossible to correct.
You should have no problem using 3M Fast Cut Plus with a 3M compounding pad as great products.
Make sure you work area is no larger than 1' square. Work the polish slowly to start then work up to 1500 - 1800 rpm...
You will need to switch the 9v feed on, so that they remote eye can work.
On the new HD EPG you need to go to options, then enter 0, then 1, then select. A new menu will appear and the option is near the bottom from memory.

Its more than likely going to be out everywhere as the last shipment that came in from the states got damaged.

The Kestrel DAS-6s are due in end of this month. No fixed date as yet as they need to clear customs etc. We have secured a large amount of stock from the next batch and are currently accepting pre-orders.
Menz are best suited for harder german paint.
For a DA beginner you are better off with the Sonus kit as easier to use and less temperamental in cold conditions.
The Sonus kit will produce the same great results but the learning curve will be so much shorter.
Don't forget to use the...

Nothing wrong with the Megs combo of #80 and #83.
Megs now rate the cut of their polishes from 1-12 (12 being the most abrassive).
Speed glaze is rated at 4, #83 cleaner polish is rated at 6.
