I'm going for these, i dont want to spend uber amounts of money on just the seats, and these are very tasty http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/images/product/product/omp_ha741trs.jpg
No he bought Recaro Formulas as they come in cloth, he didn't want to ruin Pole Positions by retrimming them, as he wanted to do orange stitch and detailing on black leather
I'm not after a super pricey or lightweight seat as its predominantly a road car and will only have a partial strip, currently edging towards OMP TRS's
ahhh a lad onTOC bought those seats, he didnt want the pole positions because he wanted to retrim them and do the RS logo, however i was sure that there was another maker that did identical seats maybe cobra, heres a pic of the seats...
well its going into a twingo, but the twingo is a rebodied mk2 clio chassis lol, i'm 5ft9 ish, i'm assuming seats on basemounts with sliders would be ok, i'm not that short i drive with a gangster lean usually lol
Right i'm looking at getting some tasty omp bucket seats, however i was shocked when i realised subframes dont come with runners, so thats an extra 60 quid on top of 140 quid for subframes, then i got thinking, will the seats sit too low on basemounting, would i need sidemounts to raise the...
guys with the exchange rate w**k, and the price of used cars in australia put it this way, a 20 year old corolla in ok condition would fetch over £1000!, when i was out there looking for older 19 16v's etc they equated to £2000+ :(
Re: The Black clio Project, From Day 1.
Cars coming along awesome bud but 1 niggle, i wouldnt of painted the yellow bits on the dash, i would of used yellow flock as paint = shiney and defeats the point of a flocked dash
If their factory spec or fitted with projectors you can use them on the continent, may need to put old school stickers on the headlights to adjust the beams or you can adjust them from the headlights themself

Ahhh, its a twingo my car not a clio but i'm assuming its all the same, may ask the guy if he can make me a knob with a grub screw attachment, or just tell him the diameter i need the hole to be and then do the rest myself ghetto style lol
Bump, surely someone has a spare knob laying about, just need to see what size bolt would fit inside it so i can tell the guy who makes them, my gearknob is stiched to the gaiter so i dont want to remove the factory stitch to check the sizing on it
Hey all just wondered what the thread size is for this, i'm getting an aftermarket gear knob but the guy who makes them drills and threads them and needs to know what size it is, he doesn't do grub screw gear knobs, any help would be much obliged
