Check through your documents for the manual for the alarm, do you not have a spare key and fob? mk1 key should be easy to replace, if you dont have a spare to get one cut from you can just replace the barrel and door locks
Ok if you can see what the positive and neg on the looms you boughtfor the doors are, you can run your own wiring from any 12v source on the car, and then run the negative to an earthing point, shouldnt be too much effort
You can just get it turned off on the ECU by a renault dealer, some dealers wont do it, but some do, bung a techy a fiver to do it, a few twingo lads have done it lol
Try getting a quote with CIS and direct line they dont use comparison sites, at aged 18 i got insured on a mk2 golf gti with CIS! it was nicked 3 weeks later though lol
The man speaks sense, i got an i7 27" with upgraded ram to 8gb and its immense, i've only recently become a mac convert! iphone 4 is next on the list :D
mate the easiest thing to do is utlise the porsches actual runners by making a frame that bolts to the standard car mount holes and then lets the porka seat sit on top, thats how i'm going to be fitting my fiesta rst recaros into the twingo lol
I dunno why they gave shitty seats in the twingo gt, but gave the laguna and clio gt nice seats, the GT is still a fairly expensive twingo its only 1k cheaper then the RS!
my whole ice install was done on a budget, its not the most expensive but it consists of an old xplod 12" 1300w sub, ive had for years, equivalent now would cost about 80 quid tops, inphase 600w amp (brand new but from ebay for 38 quid), edge coax speakers (£25) in the rear and SPL dynamics...
will do, gonna trial fit the rims but cant afford them just yet, need to get my coilies first, all the styling mods should be complete by next summer, but my engine swaps going to take longer as i'm no longer 182ing the car i'm vagging it lol
Hey all, does anybody know if major archwork would be needed to fit 9x16 wheels with et20 ofset, i don't have a clio but the twingo is essentially a mk2 clio chassis, and was wondering if anyone else had 9x16s on there clios?

Should be a straight swap but you could get a cheap aftermarket head unit with USB & Aux connection for next to nothing, and would link up to an ipod etc

Depends how complex the alarm systems are, i fitted a super basic alarm on my 19 and R5, but on the twingo being modern i'm leaving it to the pros, i'm fitting a sniper Pager alarm which for the money isn't bad, adding a backup siren and total closure to that, i could probably fit my alarm...
I need a pager alarm though as the car got vandalised a few months ago, so this alarm has proximity on it aswell and i'll get a chirp on the pager if some little s**t even breathes on it
Yeah will speak to my fitter, the alarm in question has a pager on it, so if the alarm goes off while i'm at work i can check on the car, lotsa little s***s hang around the carpark sometimes
