:( just plugged it in and now it makes a beeping and ticking kinda noise in this sequence beep beep beeeeeep does it 4 times then stops. the light still lights up, but the hdd isnt spinning up :( any ideas whats up with it? Its a Western Digital Passport 250gb...

, i'd check in the rear lights for corrosion/moisture. they could be wet shorting across making the all the rear lights come on, which makes a circuit which will cause the corresponding dash lights to come on.
