that hole is only used on an internal wastegate though, where ive got the external i was told to block the hole or it wont boost as effeciently becasue the exhaust gases will by pass the turbine
hope fully before the end of november, not got alot of cash atm and going to san francisco for 3 weeks mid september working :o but i dont want to run it over winter so unless a miracle happens i might leave it till next year :(
engine alone was a shade over 2800, but that includes no ancillaries or manifolds. nothing lol.

Not my cup of tea at all tbh, imo the mk2 ph1 is an fugly car (all bar the RS) and doesnt take very well to modifying unless its a full ph2 facelift

nah it was ebay lol only needed the one section that you can see is different ( not polished but same grade stainless ), its going to mate to a standard CAT so mot complient , hopefully haha! once i get the pipe TIG'g up i'll make up the waste gate port, dont really fancy a screamer pipe.
Well, kinda gave up on the elbow idea cos the flanges i bought wont weld on they keep falling off lol. So d/pipe is going to be 1 peice.
And i've gotten this far lol
