They will be stuck on like a mofo.
You need a wiper puller to help break the seal. When i did my rear wiper had to use one as it wasnt gonna move otherwise!
if you can lever it off in some way you could try that but it will take some doing.
Maybe a few cloths around it and use a large screwdriver?
Ah good stuff :D
Mines pretty much same old. Tidied up and kept it going. I Have all my toys....for now ;)
Thinking of chopping it in for something i can mollest. Maybe more track orientated hehe!
Nope, these are on standard 182 cup wheels.
Ran the same even on my 15's, altho the car felt much better on 15's running those pressures.
I know, im even further south now :P
Might have to catch up with u at a larger meet now ;)
How is the 182 going?
Should be fine. They always look a lil like that.
After pumping them up about 50 times a week i finally settled on them looking like that haha.
I run 31 on back 32 up front. Been alright for me.
Some companies dont like it as you havnt completed a full "years" worth of drivign to earn them.
Example, 4 Yrs NCB normally = 4 years driving experience.
With 2 x 10month policies you had.
= 3 Yrs 10 months driving experience.
Some companies websites are clever and work this out when you...
The older ones as you have have a metal/chrome finish. These do as you say rust/mark up pretty easily after a while.
The new replacements are plastic/painted.
From Renault they are approx £25 each.
Get a set from a scrappy, much cheaper :)
Some do soem dont.
IMO there not worthwile.
The companies that dont accept them have a valid reason.
Most of the companies that started these knew they would only be used within their own renewals.
Yer hit and miss with those.
Basicly there all Tuner List (pre 05) the addition of Cabasse is basicly more powerful output on them.
Different design slightly (option on non RS models) and standard on all RS models nearly (bar imports)
As said mine didnt work in my Dynamique which had the...
Sorry only just seen ur PM chris!
Its hit and miss if it will work on the older Tuner List Cabasse stuff.
It didnt work in my Dynamique at all. Thru up an error all the time.
But worked on the non Cabasse Unit i swapped back for.
As said it deff works on the Update List (2005) onwards units...
Today at 12:45 top half of Sutton one-way system. You came from the station and went round.
I was in the que by B&Q.
Either Arctic or RB, cudnt quite make it out.
Yup the Update List ones is the newer CAN BUS Gen of wiring for Renault.
Late 182's had them in and all the MK3 onwards.
My 55 Plate 182 has one also.
The TunePoint is great, but does have its faults!
* Oh and i have a nice collection of Cabasse HU sat here, just ask Middo lol ;)
Yup im back in town for good lol
So u will probably see me more often now.
Not yet back on the car....been lazy and not been to the dvla office with my house move going on!
Probably not.
Only applies to policy holder only normally.
Also, remember that you only get 3rd party cover and is only really meant to be used in "emergency" situations.
Yup very easy to fit as mentioned.
Just pop it all in the right order and your done.
There is no difference between the ones on the Dynamique al the way to the RS models.
They used to be about a £5 but i think with every other stupid price rise they have gone up well over double.
The 1.2 16v (pre 05) Throttle Body is a pain in the arse to get to. But cheaper to do yourself.
Also, did they check the wiring at the back of the engine for signs of cutting/wear marks. As this is a common problem on them, this causes loads of faults to be thrown up.
Its factory fit Cat 1.
Every place ive used brang it up from factory specs.
With tesco they said to choose the factory fit option as the other was fro after market Cat 1 alarms.
Airbag lights will come on.
Either get a resistor (many guides on here)
OR have it put on a Renault clip machine and have them disabled, just like the Trophys.
Well if your taking them straight out from the Trophy they will drop straight into yours.
Otherwise if its just the seat alone. You need the following:
Recaro Frames
Origional Renault seat runners (all the same on mk2)
Pre-Tensioners
