If the other insurance company is paying/sorting it they will restore it to exactly how you had it. ie, with all your mods etc.... items should be replaced on a like for like basis, so even if they had damaged your wheels etc they should go to exactly how you had it or the closest alternative...

Yup it seems like he has old school wiring into an old Master Socket with a non-removable panel. The panel you have J will only work with a new style Master Socket, which is only available and fitted by a BT Openreach Engineer. The existing line will have the 2 wires attatching to the back...

NO. Your NCB is only available AFTER the policy has been completed. You *could* have an accident on the very last day.... Also, if you started a new policy the dates would not tally up. As you have not completed a years worth of ncb as the current policy still remains. SO just to clarify...
