Depends on how techy u wanna be mate, slap the speakers in and you will hear the difference from the standard speakers. I can only praise Bostons on being excelent speakers.

Boston are class speakers to be honest mate. Had them in 2 cars I will have them in the third. I have some Infinitys as well, and the bostons I had upfront were miles better than the Infinity Kappas I had in the rear. I would stick with Boston even thou he is feeding u bull about the accoustics...

Nah its just that the car sales man made them signed on the dotted line before they realised what they had actually brought. They prob only took the lada in for a oil change and before you know it they were walking out with a new motor. Knowing car salesmen like I do.

Its great cos when they come to sell it, you know its one thats not been ragged. Just might need a new clutch soon, as they cant control them for toffee.

If its anything like the 172, it has to come off all in one go, you cant just lift that side up. Plus be careful if you have a passenger airbag.

You only need to look at the clocks to walk away from that. Shame as it looks nice, but I wouldnt take the risk with 8k and the numbers not sitting straight and other non standard parts fitted.

I have both items, and they went in my 172, they are really nice units and work very well. Any help you need give me a shout. They have a seperate box thats quite big (for the head unit itself) and it has a onboard fan, so where eva you place it make sure it has good vents. Get it!

Boston Rallys Best speakers I have eva owned. Cost £250 which isnt cheap, but the quality is mega. Still have the speakers and they are going in my next car. Toms & Clio172boy are still right end of discussion;)

Is it doing it with the climate control switched off, I used to find on my 172 if I switched the climate off I used to get the same sounding whistle.
