Cheers lads.. Straight to the exhaust garage then to get them to modify the existing one.. I say it's a decat pipe but basically when I replaced the exhaust I took the cat out and scrapped it as it was fooked so will prob just need the pipe shortening?

I've had mine on 18 months.. Came on after 12.. Then went away again after a couple of days.. Been on once or twice in the last 6 months but always disappears Also with regards to the above I run mine on 95 mainly but occasionally treat it to 98.

This light in the middle? Electrical fault, I got it a few times. It puts the car in limp mode.. Best I could suggest is check all the connections under the bonnet, make sure nothing's shorting with water or got corrosion on it.. Check fuses and relays for same thing. Hopefully playing about...

Could some kind person enlighten me and tell me what a dephaser pully is and what it does? I've been asking about it and I've just realised I don't actually know what it is? Something to do with cam belt?

Yea I've been scouring YouTube.. Dephaser sounds a lot more like a rattle and bearings a deep knock.. Which this is.. But they all have the knock on idle and mine doesn't unless it's just not progressed as far.. I don't know I'm not an expert.. Just asking questions and exploring avenues.. Like...

Yep my mechanic friend has confirmed it. It's going... Had an offer just see how that pans out over the weekend.. If I had a drive way I would break it.. I can't be arsed trying to fix it, I don't have the spare money or the time plus I will never trust it again.. Stop gap for six months then...

Got my mechanic coming round later to have a look see.. He does all the work on my cars.. Should hopefully give me an idea which direction I take
