That's nothing, this is one of my wheels!
This is after a good pressure washing and clean with fairy liquid! On the left it's a lot cleaner because I spent about 45 minutes with alloy wheel cleaner and it's still not right. I gave up because it would take me ages to get all 4 wheels back to...
Interested in group buy. I was put off coilovers as I was under the impression I'd need to spend £700+ to get something decent, which I'd just put towards a faster car to be honest!
Just as an update to this, I've spent the last 2 afternoons cleaning 1 side of my car. This s**t is f**king horrendous! The wheels are proper f**ked at the front and will need refurbing (I was going to do this anyway, so no big deal).
The paintwork has come up fine, I'm on my second bottle of...
Hmmm, as far as I know there's the RC5 (the less aggressive pad) and the RC6, which is very aggressive. The side of the box says RC5, unless they've given me the wrong kind? Or maybe I just drive a lot faster than you :rasp:
I recently replaced my DS2500 pads with CL RC5 along with a set of Brembo Max discs. I know they are a more aggressive pad, and they do generate a little dust, but (according to others) the RC5 compound isn't too bad. I was shocked when I went out to clean my car today:
After 1 trackday, and...
Chipped? It doesn't have an ecu to chip! And why would he fit a 1.9 xantia engine....the 306 is already fitted with exactly the same engine to start with ;)
Likewise, was not impressed much by a test drive at the dealer, but after a back to back drive at RS trackdays with my 182 I have no doubt the 197 is the better, faster car.
On my way home from work at about 16:40 there was a wrecked red V6 on the Renton bypass, involved in an accident with a red civic. Number plate started V6, didn't catch the rest. It looked like a right mess, cops were out directing traffic. Hope everyone is ok :(
I know they're either EBC Green or Yellow, but I can't tell by looking at them. I thought they might be yellow or green to look at but these are black. The numbers on the back are as follows:
LE M03 FF
90R-01820/015
101 74 5241
There's also an "E1" in a circle.
Any help appreciated :D
Aye, similar story. I was sitting at my PC one night and the security light goes on. I look out the blinds to see some chavy little c**k in a track suit looking in my conservatory. I opened the window and asked him politly what he was doing. He didn't say anything and started to casually stroll...
I found it very straight forward, backing up the existing ECU software and then reprogramming took about 40 minutes in total. As for other mods, contact Henk at fastchip, he is very helpful and replies quickly. I think a custom map is 70 euros extra.
Did mine last week, well worth it. I picked it up for £130. It offers a lot more than just a remap though. You can backup your original map and re-apply it any time, you can look up and clear fault codes, run diagnostics and view live data readouts.
You can also get a map specific to your car...
