Or just click the link Adam posted. You don't need to be a student and you get more than student discount iirc. I paid £859 for a brand new MacBook Pro 13" with 3 years applecare then got iWork for £29
Yeh they've changed. Maybe not mention the door unroll people ring, obviously tell them before they get there but you can at least get talking to people.
Also private plate would put me off. You've just said it will be sold without but has it actually been done or still in the process?
Also depends what you define as "decent" if your one of these people who wants all for nothing (after a perfect 2005 campus with low mileage for £1150) then your obviously going to have no luck.
What shape are you after?
http://macintoshhowto.com/hardware/does-my-mac-need-more-memory.html
mine is like the bottom image but even less free memory and more page outs thats when its basically not doing anything, just has safari and mail open?
Is that right?
Bloody hell that is devotion.
Sayin that i know a lad at work turned 17 paying £2900 on his ka says all his mates are paying similar and i know a 19yo paying £1900 on a matiz!!
Oh right, maybe its not worth doing then. Most of the time ill just use mail,iWork, safari and iTunes. But sometimes mess about with Xcode, website software, FTP etc
Think ill stick with the 8Gb don't want to spend too much if i do upgrade but at £34 i might as well.
Stupid question maybe but is all RAM as good as each other? Who makes RAM for MacBooks etc?
I've just bought a MacBook Pro 2.4 i5 with 4GB and 500GB HD. Its fast and lightning compared to my other mac but just seen that i can get 8Gb for £34 so might give it a go.
Is this the same thing? and are they easy to fit? Will it effect warrenty...
