well having owned a gti-6 before the clio 172 i noticed the clio pulls slightly more untill 5th gear, but where the gti-6 has a 6th gear thats wear it pulls away ever so slightly from the ph1 172, those pugs are under estimated and are very quick in every gear even 6th gear pulls like a b*tch...

looks gash with those wheels and rack loose them both and deck that baby. will look 100x better

what are best for the sport engine? standard air box or induction filter?? i have an induction but still have the standard air box sat in my garage not sure whats best for the engine? opinions welcome.

yep its being de-chavved lol, most is back to standard now just need wheels and exhaust to finish it off, thinking of doing a ph 2 rear end aswell.

its already had a 40mm drop. On apex springs. If i put 15" wheels on id have to take the front splitter of but thats a some price to pay lol

Ive takin everyones opinion and have make a few changes to it, taken the eyelids off but now need new headlights and the standard mirrors are back on, just need to get hold of some wheels and then get th money together for a k-tec stealth exhaust :) Pics of changes to follow.

its not a mod id do tbh looks gay but looks much better on the blue clio get it colour coded and stick another pic up, i reckon it may just pull it off.

i still have the original mirriors so thats not a problem, wheels ummm what would be best to replace the ones i have?? eyelids might be a problem as there glued on so it may not come off the headlights. :o

Hi all, Just througt id post some pics of my 172 (Modified) any comments or thoughts welcome im not sure were to go with it but i dont want a stripped out track car so if anyone has any ideas of how to improve the looks etc they will be appreicated :)

mines a stainless cat back and its fine through out the rev range, maybe just a tired exhaust system????

another thing it could be is your tracking might be out???

could be a cv joint maybe???? or handbrake over tightened so as the car leans its pulling slightly on the handbrake????

and just to rub salt in the worns mine 8 yrs old this yr and passed everytime with hardly any adviserise :) but it due again in may so ive probs jinxed that now hahaha does seem a fair bit wrong for the age of the car
