Great Photographs - I am loving that rainbow pic, although my car looks was sooo filthy... :rasp:
...Took a wrong turn on the way to the airfield :quiet:
After having a bit of banter with Winston about this thread I decided I would post...
I currently own a Mk2 Ph1 172 and recently bought a Williams 1 (number 69), and have previously owned a Mk1 16v.
The 172 has been a great fun car to own and drive and in my eyes it was a true successor to...
Awesome car even without the conversion.
IIRC one of the earliest Mk1's with white willy wheels too! (first one that i saw)
Saw this about a year ago at pod when the f7p was alive - thought it was a lovely car then...Then went onto full williams widetrack  which is definitely the first...
MattT - Yeh I envisaged the police taking longer than usual. Although they now are being chased by my insurers, an accident investigation consultancy and myself.
21Castlehill - thanks for the comments. Although in London I have never heard of anyone paying for ambulance call out charges...
:approve: - Nice vid.
Its amazing how the car didnt flip on a few occasions
I am sure I speak for many (as commented by others on various threads) - glad you got it back :star:
Thanks for the comments. I always like white wheels - gives it a more purposeful look imo . Inspiration can be found here..

..as well as the numerous examples of Williams Speedlines in white.
They are 15inch - did not plan to go a...
Cheers for the advice - goes without saying to be polite etc.
I wont settle for half payment personally, will try various routes of obtaining the cash and if all else fails will get it pursued through a legal firm.
She has put marks / scratches on the driver side front end (luckily my Alu...
Both cars look awesome.
Had a real hard think about getting a 197 Cup - something about the white paintwork with the black details set it off real nice
FunkyMunky - Nice Pre 2008 pornage ;)
Monkey636 - I totally agree. Good to know some cyclists go about taking out insurance even if it isnt mandatory - Lets face it £60 a year is small compared to the replacement value of a bike, let alone anything else.
Although, one would hope, those who do not carry cycle insurance, If they are...
Out if the 2 15's - the Gold willy wheels looked best imo - but u do get the odd remark about the car not being a williams but being made to look like one.
The 16 Legg's look Menacing - specially in the night pics.:star:
'A bit skint' ey Jay?? 3 sets of rims will do that to most
Thanks for the info MattT - greatly appreciated. Will keep you (and CS) informed.
I will probably follow the same procedure as yourself and get the work done (at least then my car will be minty again :approve:). Will try the various approaches to recoup costs.
I am informing my insurers...
When someone is injured and crying in the middle of a junction - i think it will be a bit heartless to ask 'are you paying for the damage' :dead:. Also, once police attended we did not speak to eachother as they had to take separate statements - hers from the ambulance.
Maybe going through...
MattT - thanks fella. And I totally agree: BillG's advice has been very helpful.
I had a little read of your incident; It really is unfair that cyclists can use the road without the same requirements as other road users.
Are you arguing your case through insurance? with the cyclist direct? or...
:D Mostro - I have no qualms with people posting on this thread - its just a lotta forums get clogged up with posts that are banter. Good thing about CS is it has a section for that already, and therefore I would hope by me posting in the insurance section would avoid that - obviously not <not...
