0-60 on most of these kinds of cars is pretty similar, Clio 182, Focus ST, Megane 225, Golf GTi. But with the Clio 182 being an n/a engine, the torque from the turbo'd motors would leave the Clio after about 60 or 70mph anyway. Having been able to drive my Megane 225 and the missus 182 Cup...

Silver or mud guards are the key!! lol My old Clio 172 was silver and even after a week of driving in the rain, it still looked relatively clean, even my mums SportKa comes out looking ok even though its dirty!! My R5 seems to stay clean but its got mud guards and they help no end...

I've personally have the Trophy but the main reasons would be due to it being newer and looks good in the colour. The Cup is a bargain though so its all down to what you wanna spend really. Ones newer and may hold its value better but you'll love driving both of em!! :D:D

I'd say that was a good dose of natural good driving abililty!! A lot of people would just stamp on the brakes and hope they don't hit someone. To some its very unatural to actually try and stop, and steer at the same time!! lol Glad you didn't smash up you Clio or yourself though mate.

Probably as easy going for a set of decent after market ones, just drill your pedals and get em on. Saved *****ing about with removing the accelerator pedal. Its not a 172 so it won't hurt to not have all 172 bits. :D :D

Interesting idea of a 1.2ltr turbo!!! hahaha If its gonna be a proper RenaultSport, it should be at least 172bhp, that would put it up there with the performance of the old RS Clios and would probably make a better replacement for them than the new 197!!

The ZS' are fairly rapid, 110bhp if I recall correctly. Other car I highly rate is the Ford SportKa, sounds a big girly but with about 100bhp, 1.6 8v they are really nippy. Steering and handling is spot on as well. Comes with bodykit and 16" rims as standard. :D
