The whole gearnob itself is actually glued on and is moulded onto the gear stick, which is a really firm and strong grip. In order to actually remove the nob then you will need to saw it off as the whole unit itself is not bolted onto the stick. I used a small hack saw and had to cut 3 areas...

If its fitted properly to the actual suspension struts as apposed to the bodywork then you will notice a change/ feel cornering at higher speeds, but in-town driving, don't expect miracles.. They look fab under the bonnet though ;)

I got a pipercross cone, you need a power screw driver in order to secure the jubilee clip to the the plastic adapter plate for a secure fit, so that the filter adapter digs into the rubber bung. Im dissapointed with the results tho, so I might upgrade to a Viper kit (when I have the money).

Yea its a 1.2, but I have the car for 5 years now and im in the process of doing it up, so every bit of power I can get helps. I know other 1.2's can get upto 20 BHP power gains. Is that a myth or just rumour? :S
