meh whats done is done. gives me something to do i guess.
the car seems solid thats the main thing. i can't believe how rusted everything is. currently considering the best way to get all the little odds and ends painted.
Small update...
Had a look at the roof today, the antenna is definitely leaking a bit.
Main job for today was to work out why the heater isnt working. as most people said..reason the blower wasnt working was the plug has melted. someone tried to "fix it by wedging a screw in the plug why do...
thanks bigrsi a few people has also said that. the problem i have is that the previous owner but mastik all over the sunroof already! ill try and clean it out and do the arial fix.
maybe today...im just heading out to have a look at why the heater blower isnt working. have to rush though work...
just ordered polybush set, another stat (was given wrong one) and a low temp fan switch - decided that if the fan switch is faulty i want it there to fix it straight away!
whats more comfy H&R or FK? car will be for road use..i just want camber coz its cool :cool: wont be dropping more than...
interested...but maybe not right now :) need to concentrate on getting the mechanics's sorted i do need a rear washer jet though..

when u go to dtweeks they say £60 for wishbone bush then it says 4 required then it says each when i read it it looked like 4 bushes needed at 60 quid each!

spoke to winston on MSN last night and got a lot of good info like make...
i know that...if hot water isnt being circulated by the rad surely the sensor on the rad would never reach a temperature to switch the fan on?
the fan was bodged in with house flex so it was wired incorrectly. i re-wired it the other night. ill get another stat and then i will see if the fan...

are you using the willy trackrods?
is the rheostat the heater resistor? also RE the oil pressure sender is is just a single wire with a female spade terminal? i can see the cable dangling but not where it goes, need to jack it up.

hmm so slightly better handling with the silly subframe im guessing? ill get a poly bush set as well. the existing struts and springs are messed up...too low and too harsh so needed to change em anyway. The springs the guy is selling are 5 months old.

the spoiler was attatched with woodscrews and no thought was put into the process end result it the bootlid is pretty rotten so after another one...

thanks mark one.. yeah i started the stat then realised i was given the wrong one. i know the fan should be able to stay running but it was running as soon as i turned the key...the fan is linked to the stat reading too low i think..they hard wired it to the battery as i guess it was never...
