    172 ph2 exhaust port shape

    Those are exhaust ports he is showing the size difference between phase 2 , and phase 1 exhaust ports. The gasket is for a phase 1 which has 30% bigger ports as standard.

    Re: JC5-140 Ratios Sorry Yanoo I have just re read the PM and it is actualy a JC5-145 box not a 140 do you have the ratios for this box. It has also been fitted with a 4.5 final drive, thats how i got the lower speed when working out the 140 box as with the standard FD it will do 140mph.

    Going to a 84mm bore will give 2061.54cc ,I think thats the largest off the shelf pistons you can buy.

    Only place I would use local to me would be Anderson Engineering , but Agra in Dundee have a decent rep aswell.

    Easily sorted I just opened out a standard gasket a little and fitted that , but gives an idea of how much the ports can be opened out.

    Thats the spec I went with Kelv ,ported head, super tech valves, catcam springs,cams and jenveys. I actualy lost the o ring groove on my jenvey inlet once it had been matched to the head ports :cry:

    The guy that did my head left the inlet slightly ruffer than the exhaust, to help keep a little turbulence to help the mix.

    That is standard they are CNC finished at the factory, I thought the same when I first took mine off. This is a ported head

    I think with the seals and a couple of screws from the inside you should bet a good seal on the front windows , I had to put serews in from both sides as my doors are a bit more flexy.

    Last time I weighed mine it came in at 957kg with half a tank of fuel, that was basic stripped interior with a 6 point cage and 2seats. Since then I have fitted a full set of polycarbonate windows, carbon bonnet,gutted tailgate and fiberglass doors so now hope to be around 900kg will weigh it...
