i work for halfords, I'm duty manager for a certain south east store. We do have a few muppets as staff but as everyone knows college and student employees don't give a s**t. I wouldn't want to work for peanuts. Retail industry suffers because of it. just take comfort in knowing that the more...
it will be law within 2 years to drive with lights on 24hrs a day. volvo's have had this system on their cars. safer for all of us. especially bikers (former biker :-( )

got my 172 ff 52 plate, just wondering about the pro's and cons to fitting decat pipe.
Will i have uneven/bad idle and poor running below 4k revs?
I've heard a few different stories etc
anyone got a write-up etc
flexi pipe is basically a foil like exhaust pipe. honda use it on the civic type r. basically used instead of conventional joints. allows more movement with little or no fatigue.
You can use it if you can get it. not cheap i believe?
xenon ballast and bulb are fine, seems to be loose/bad connection within headlight as my n/s xenon does not light with ignition off but when engine is running it's fine9lights)
what you think?
this afternoon i tried the other headlight ballast and the light still flickered or did not come on without engine running.
Looks like the headlight has to come out and inspect resistors/wiring within the headlight because the headlight is getting all the power needed. tested it with meter...
anyone know where to get a xenon bulb for my clio 172 apart from renault?
easy to fit?
reason i ask is, when i park up the n/s light starts flickering like a strobe and goes out. fine when driving but i expect it's time to change it?
my car was on the road 29/09/02 and 1 owner with full renault service history. it's now covered 30400 miles. should I do the cambelt and aux. belt when i do the rest of the service items next month?
has anyone done a guide or reference to the tools required and or process of changing the aux. belt and cambelt on the 172/182?
Been searching but no luck.
any help appreciated.
