Yeah I reckon they will just replace it, after all insurance will pay all the cost. Remember that there are scrap places out there that can help if in another instance where you need a replacment part!
I damaged my bumper and got a scrap one for £75 (cant remember the place where i got it from) but they specalised in French car parts. Think Renault will want at least £400 including paint spraying for a new one.
..... 182WRC, (sorry hit enter by mistake) took me out the other week, they sound great. Just saving up for some myself, but got holiday soon, so maybe October time after 12k service!
Probably to do with lack of driving experience mate. I think the quote for around £800 is ok, consudering you have just passed your test. Try Elepahant.co.uk too!
Very nice mate, you part ex ing the old 172? Enjoy it when you get it! I like the ride of my 182, so the stiffer suspension on the trophy should be a real treat!
Yeah, i was parked outside Favourite chicken. Just picking up my holidau tickets. I like the double pipes mate. Plus the LED lights looked smart! You live West Wickham way? Im in Beckenham
Well Ive just hit 10k now and they have over 3mm left. I mainly do short B road drives in the week and longer motor way/ straight A roads at weekends. I do like windy B roads too tho! Maybe 17k is optimistic but should make 14-15k.
I havent done any track days on them to fair.
Think Ill let the fronts wear down then guys! I was only thinking that it may have worked out cheaper in long run by buying 4 new tyres instead of 2 now and 2 later. But I dont want to risk my safety so will leave them as they are!
Coming up to the 10k mark and noticing that the front tyres are warn a fair bit more than the back, which is fine. But I just wondered if its worth swapping the fronts with the backs so that I can then replace all 4 tyres when it comes to it?
Anyone else done this?
