    Renault will do it mate. For now you will have to reach in and lock door manuallty then use the lock on outside to do drivers door! Make sure key fob battery hasnt worn

    Not sure about the fronts. But I know the backs you just pull the covers off, then you unscrew four crosshead screws. Very easy!

    Yeah Im gutted for ya. I did protect mine, but it did cross my mind that should I save money and not protect it. At least you still have some NCB! I take it you have got quotes to see how much your car will cost to get repaired privately?

    I think that quote from Bell is good Lou. Miy insurance quotes are around £750 and U have 4 yrs NCB. My area isnt the best for insuring a car tho! Try Admiral and Diamond for Women (all sister companies but may vary slightly) especially Diamond! Let us know!

    Told ya! That is really good £180 cheaper! Now put your parents or someone with lots of driving experience on as the 2nd driver an it should fall even more! Even if you get cabs to work for a week im sure they will cost less than what you will be saving by waiting a week until you are 21!

    Yeah just try a few quotes and pretend you were bron a week earlier and see how much difference it is. I think it will come down quite a bit, maybe up to another £100 off! Let us know how you get on!

    My mates once played a trick on me and reached under neath the car and disconnected my front fogs on my 1.2 dynamique. The interior bulb light wss on, but they didnt work because they had been unplugged! Might be worth a look!

    I reckon its the fusees mate. They are either located under engine bay near battery. Or open passenger door and on side of dash you can remove a cover i think. That details each fuse position and function

    Putting your dad as named driver on your policy should see it drop quite a bit. Only a certain few insurers add money to the premium for extra drivers. I would declare all mods. Or wait a year and then stick alloys etc on the car. After the 1st year insurance goes down quite a bit, around 30%...

    When opening your doors give the car 2 seconds to disable the alarm. This is why it is going off as you open door! Mine beeps three times when locking, its related to the activation of the immobilser, see link above.

    How old are you clio-nut? Any no claims? Try Insurers like Admiral, Bell Direct and Elephant, they tend to be reasonable for young drivers. But I would get a quote for you as the main driver and then out your parents as named on your plicy. You will then build up no claims.
