Well its the fan, its dead. I by-passed the switch and the fan does not come on, does anyone know if you can manouvre the fan out without disconnecting the RAD?

i got mine done by powerflow and it was really loud, straight from the downpipe and my missus would not let up about it so i got the cat put back on. She has now shut up.:( Definate power gain and a nice popping noise when you let off the accelerator.

No, what i mean is that after the car has warmed up and you take it for a run, the temp goes up. If you park up the car and turn off the ingnition occaisionally the fan comes on to cool the engine, i think for about 8 mins.

Thanks people i will check it when the weather gets better, Im just glad the summer is over, I think I will take all the coolant out and replace the componants as mentioned in the first post. What sealant do you use on the threads on the switches? Is it a special type?

What colour do Willy clocks light up?

The fan does not cut in when it should, normally the temp goes to halfway on the dash and no further. Yesterday when I was waiting for someone the temp went to THREE QUARTERS. The car is not cooling down when off also. Any ideas? Thermostat? Fan switch in Rad? Aux waterpump? dodgey temp...

I have a standard phase 1 16v and i think these wheels are the k9s testicles.

mines the same, flooring does not do much good, a quick gradual motion i find is better, you get more from it!

Obviously check the fuse, the bonding stuff on the door cards are reusable, well when i took my door cards of majority of the sealant/bonding stayed on the door. Do the mirrors still heat up with the rear window heater? You will have to check if you have power going to them!

I got a set of plastic covers which go on the inner door part of the wing mirror from a normal Clio and mounted my tweeters onto them, looks different. Just waiting for some decent crossovers to come up.

Turk The only way to get the dials to light up a different colour is to take them apart and remove the orange element and then colour the bulbs. I am gonna try this as soon as i get another set of dials.(easier said than done)
