I've just switched from BT to SKY.
Only costs me £10 per month for 16Mb Max service.
Worth doing if you have sky or are thinking about getting it, the standard 2Meg service is free.
Shed-man, looking forward to seeing your car in two week time at the surrey rolling road day! The cage looks great - have been thinking about doing the same.
With the full cage in, can you open your glovebox?
Have just ordered SKY Broadband and received delivery of my sky branded netgear router.
Does anyone know the user name and password to get into the router setup when connecting to 192.168.0.1 ?
Normally netgear uses username=admin, password=password, but this doesn't work?
Funny I watched the Matrix yesterday upscaled to 1080i on my PDP-507XD. The lobby scene is my all time favourite! I just love hearing the shells drop behind my head.
LCD is a nasty cheap inferior technology, that is easy to mass produce.
The more educated buyer will always choose plasma over LCD for large screen viewing.
LCD may have sold more units worldwide but thats because it has a bigger market. ie they don't make plasma screens smaller than 37"...
If you are looking for a screen over 37" then go plasma. Even at 1024x768 or the more recent 1365x768 look miles better than any 1920X1080 LCD on both SD and HD sources.
More resolution does not alway equal better picture quality.
The best plasma's are from Pioneer, Panasonic and Fujitsu...
OK thanks Paul, so basically I have a Sanspeed modified superchip programme. I will speak to both Sanspeed and Superchips about this as I would like to clarify the situation re warranty etc.
Most people myself included wanted to see the improvement in figures as well as smiles.
You're products / services have been highly praised on this site by many users and if I hadn't already had it done elsewhere I might be looking to get either you or Paul to remap my car (I'm guessing here...
It was explained to me like this;
Sanspeed started by loading the basic 182 Superchip programme as a base and then fine tune from there on there rolling road to match my engine and modifications.
In total they did five power runs, I walked away with a Superchip key and rolling road graphs...
Of course it is custom to the car, that's why it was tuned on a rolling road - no phone calls to Superchips etc
Also you haven't answered Englebert's question above;
What is the difference between what you can do with a Superchip and your own map then Paul?
Paul, I'm not knocking you product...
No but I'm sure that when once fitted you loose the use of the glovebox.
If this is a problem you can get a half age from Safety Devices, which I believe at a later stage can be upgraded to a full cage.
It's just easier and they should swap it over for you without any problem.
But then I guess you will need to run the new screen in again for 200 hours.
Plus you might get charged for collection etc from Pioneer as I'm sure just parts and labour are free.
So soon after purchase I would...
