I have changed my gearbox but find I can either get rev 1 2 3 4 but no 5th or 1 2 3 4 5 and no rev so need to put it in 5th at the box end then reconnect at the stick end ?

I have been told that although not the prettiest on the market they are very good when valved and matched to the right springs, they have some ex Leda employees who know a thing or two about dampers so come recommended.
Anyone have any experience with them on clio's or other cars ?

I realise this is non adjustable and set up for the race cars with very large spring rates is it only suitable for slicks or can it be used with 888 or Direzza's or would Ast's be better from a set up point of view as you can use different rates and adjust the damping.

I have just bought a new kit from renault and the tensioner "spring" is solid ? I assume this tensions the belt so should move, my old one can be compressed although not easily.
Is this right before I go back to renault ?

If the cars are standard is the aftermarket ecu worth having over the standard renault one ? I know that it can be accessed easier for tuning etc and has a ew usefull extras and will run say 421 cams better than standard but is it worth it unless your planning on fitting itb's or turbo etc at a...
On the throttle body there is a small take off for a pipe on the front of the body , where does it go too ? mines missing as it had itb's on and i cant find it in the engine bay ??

Do I need to use windows antivirus as well ? or only if I go online with xp ?

The white plug under the drivers seat has been caught and pulled the wires out does anyone know which way around the wires are as its pulled the sleeve with it.?

I think my cat mybe partially blocked so was going to replace it and the manifold with a 182 I know it's a b**ch to do but I know the ph1 has larger ports on the exhaust so will the manifold be the same size ?

No 3 had oil around the metal part of the plug suggesting it wasn't tight enough? And I could see wet on top of the piston through the plug hole ? Oil ?

This is supposed to stop the shaft leak and looks like it may well do it but what is to stop the 2 seals working their way into the gearbox as the shaft goes up and down leaving you with a worse leak than before ?

Basically can't make my mind up between a gripper or a quaife.
I know the gripper will need a rebuild at some point and can be snatchy at low speeds but is the best for track work.
The quaife doesn't need rebuilding but doesn't give the 'ultimate' grip but is good.
